Fragrance Review

Puredistance MV2Q is an opulent redesign of their cherished Puredistance M from 2010, which wonderfully encapsulates the company's past, present, and future.

"James Bond in a bottle" was how some referred to the first M. True to the spirit of M, this new scent is based on cinnamon, patchouli, and labdanum as its core notes, but Puredistance MV2Q softens the scent's alpha-male characteristics by including an orange blossom and a lovely jasmine sambac floral heart. There isn't any of the leather that was there in the original; instead, you get a stout, smoky pine tar note to confirm its manly edge, which is again softened by the base's smoldering vanilla and tonka notes.

Puredistance MV2Q, created by perfumer Antoine Lie is smooth and immeasurably sophisticated, much like Daniel Craig as Bond 007 was. And in keeping with Puredistance's meticulously curated range, M V2Q is a 28% perfume oil extrait with great projection and longevity, keeping with the carefully chosen range of Puredistance products.
