Fragrance Review

The lively coffee, rum, and cigar notes at the introduction reflect the ambiance of Parisian cafés in the 1920s. The fougère-like aromatic freshness of Clary Sage and French Lavender at the center smoothly transitions to a sophisticated floral blend of Mimosa, Broom, and Jasmine Sambac. Patchouli, Oakmoss, Oakwood, and Vetiver are earthy base ingredients that underpin the composition, whereas Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, and Madagascar Vanilla uphold the gourmand vibe. La Rhapsodie Noire created by perfumer Pissara Umavijani also has great longevity which we all like.

“One evening, I was crossing the Pont-Neuf; as I was listening to “Rhapsody in Blue”, I paused to look around me: even more so at night, Paris seems to have kept its fabled charm unaltered by time. My imagination was fueled by images and sensations of the City of Light in the 1920s, a time of extraordinary energy and creativity.
