OPI GelColor Gel Polish Application:

  1. Remove the surface shine of the nail using a nail file or buffer.
  2. Using a nail cleanser, remove the oils and debris from the nail surface.
  3. Apply one coat of the OPI Bond-Aid pH Balancing Agent on the nail to increase adhesion.
  4. After shaking the OPI GelColour Basecoat, apply a thin layer, making sure to cap the free edge of the nail.
  5. Cure using an LED Lamp for 30 seconds.
  6. Choose your favourite OPI GelColour gel polish and shake the bottle to mix the pigment for an even colour application.
  7. Apply a very thin layer of gel polish capping the free edge and cure it under an LED Light for 30 seconds.
  8. Apply a second layer of the gel colour capping the free edge again and cure using a LED Light for 30 seconds.
  9. Shake the OPI GelColor Top Coat for 60 seconds to mix it thoroughly.
  10. Apply a thin coat to seal in the colour and cap the free edge to prevent any chipping.
  11. Cure this layer for 30 seconds using an LED light and wipe the sticky residue using the NAS 99 nail cleanser.

OPI GelColor Gel Polish Removal:

  1. Using a 180-grit nail file, remove the surface shine of your gel manicure to break the topcoat.
  2. Soak a nail wipe in an acetone remover when the surface shine is removed.
  3. Apply the nail wipe around each fingernail.
  4. Wait for 10-20 minutes for the gel polish to be soaked off.
  5. Remove the nail wipes and using a wooden cuticle stick, remove the soaked-off gel from the nail surface.
  6. Follow with the OPI Nail Envy nail treatment to restore the hydration and strength of the nail.
