    Aquacel Extra

    Aquacel Extra ist eine weiche, sterile, nicht gewebte Wundauflage oder Tamponade aus Natriumcarboxymethylzellulose und regenerierter Cellulosefaser zur Verstärkung. Dieser stark absorbierende Verband nimmt Wundsekret auf und bildet ein weiches Gel. Durch das Gel wird die Wunde feucht gehalten und ein optimales Wundheilungsmilieu geschaffen. Aquacel unterstützt den Heilungsprozess und erleichtert den Abtransport von abgestorbenem Gewebe aus der Wunde (autolytisches Debridement) ohne Beschädigung des neugebildeten Gewebes.

    Indikationen:
    Aquacel Extra eignet sich für die Versorgung von akuten und chronischen mäßig bis stark exsudierenden Wunden:
    Ulcus cruris, Dekubiti (Grad II-IV) und diabetischen Ulzera.Chirurgische Wunden (z.B. postoperative Wunden mit Sekundärheilung und Spalthautentnahmestellen).Verbrennungen zweiten Grades.Traumatische Wunden (z.B. Riss-, Schürf- und Schnittwunden).Exsudataufnahme in onkologischen Wunden (exulzerierende Hauttumore, Hautmetastasen und Kaposi-Sarkom).

    Exsudatmenge:
    Mäßig bis viel.

    Produkteigenschaften:
    Anpassungsfähig.Zuschneidbar.Effektiv auch unter Kompression.Einfach zu applizieren.Unterstützt das autolytische Debridement.Stark auch in feuchtem Zustand.Kann gefaltet werden, um sich an jede Wunde anzupassen.Empfohlene Tragedauer: maximal 7 Tage.

    Produktnutzen:
    Passt sich dem Wundbett exakt an und eliminiert unversorgte Bereiche (Toträume), in denen Bakterien und Biofilm wachsen können.Schließt überschüssiges Exsudat ein, schützt die intakte Wundumgebung und verhindert Mazerationen durch vertikale Flüssigkeitsaufnahme.Sorgt für eine optimale Feuchtigkeitsbalance in der Wunde, um ein feucht-warmes Wundheilungsmilieu aufrechtzuerhalten, während das Gel zu einer Minimierung der Schmerzen beim Verbandwechsel beiträgt.
