Experience portable comfort wherever you are with the Amana portable air conditioner. Designed for cooling and dehumidifying a room up to 450 square feet, this Amana portable air conditioner features on-board electronic controls with 3 speeds and a 24-hour timer, plus a handy remote control with LCD display and an auto-swing option. Our auto-swing louvers with multiple air direction delivers better air distribution making sure there are no "hot spots" in the room. Plus, easy-rolling caster wheels allow you to conveniently move the unit from room to room, providing cool air when and where you need it most. With the included window exhaust kit, it only takes a few minutes to uninstall and reinstall. At Amana we have exactly what you need to keep cool and dry. In October 2017, the Department of Energy implemented a new test procedure to determine the BTU rating of portable air conditioners. The procedural change has adjusted the amount of BTUs allowed to be claimed downward by as much as 50%. There have been no internal changes to these units, and the functionality remains the same. The 4 ft. exhaust hose and window venting kit are also easily transferable from room to room, and adjustable for windows 26.63” to 52”. Finally, a 52 in. grounded power cord gives you placement flexibility and added safety from shock hazards.
  • POWER LOSS PROTECTION: You have enough things to worry about after a power outage. Restarting your air conditioner and reconfiguring your settings shouldn’t be one of them. With the Amana automatic restart function, your unit will turn back on and continue operating at your desired settings once power is restored.
