A remote control receiver heat shield helps block some of the heat from a gas or propane fireplace from melting the receiver.

The RS-1 Black Receiver Cover by Skytech provides heat protection for any fireplace receiver, and improves radio frequency communication. The cover is intended to be used inside your fireplace and is made from copolymer tapcon, a high temperature material graded for temperatures up to 230°F.
