The need for effective germ control

Micro-organisms present a major challenge to livestock health and productivity. It is difficult to vaccinate against all known infectious diseases, not to mention the added problem of identifying the causes of such diseases. Ultraxide offers the advanced solution to overcome these problems. Independent tests prove that it is  effective against major diseases affecting man and animals making it an effective broad spectrum and non selective disinfectant.

What is Ultraxide?

ULTRAXIDE is a high performance disinfectant formulated with active ingredients of Glutaraldehyde and Benzalkonium chloride. In combination these two actives are highly effective across a broad range of micro organisms making Ultraxide a highly effective broad spectrum disinfectant for sanitising sheds, animal facilities and general farming equipment.

USES

• Suitable for use in all farm environments such as

• Animal facilities, ie shearing sheds, horse stables, dog kennels, hatcheries, piggeries and processing areas 

• paved areas, concrete flooring and paths

• farm equipment and vehicles, tires and garbage bins

• Can be applied to any hard surface to clean and disinfect in one-step operation.

• May be used as an aerial spray or mist or with a pressure sprayer

Recommended dilution Rate

Ultraxide should be used at the standard rate of 10 mL per 1 L of water for all applications This can be applied by pressure sprayer or general purpose spray applicator, mop and bucket or cloth.

Ultraxide should be applied at a rate of 100mL of diluted product per sq. meter on non-porous surfaces or 300mL per sq. meter for porous surfaces.

 

Once applied a contact time of 10 minutes should be allowed before rinsing with clean water to ensure effective disinfectation, alternatively allow treated surface to air dry.

NOTE: heavily soiled surfaces should be cleaned of dirt and organic matter and allowed to dry prior to application. Excess organic matter will reduce the effectiveness of Ultraxide.
