    Gelocast und Gelocast elastic

    Bei Traumata oder venös erkrankten Beinen ist eine längere Entstauungstherapie notwendig. Für diese Patienten wurde Gelocast und Gelocast elastic, ein Zink-Gel-Verband auf Cellulosebasis, entwickelt. Dieser Verband zeichnet sich durch einen geringen Ruhedruck und einen sehr hohen Arbeitsdruck aus, der den venösen Rückstrom auch in den tiefen Leitvenen fördert. Gelocast ist eine starre Mullbinde, Gelocast elastic ist eine längselastische Binde. Gelocast besteht aus 100% Baumwolle, beschichtet mit einer auf Hydroxyethylcellulose basierenden Zink-Gel-Masse.

    Latexfreie Rezeptur. Nicht mit Naturkautschuklatex hergestellt.

    Anwendung:
    Gelocast/Gelocast elastic eignet sich als Kompressionsverband bei phlebologischen Indikationen wie:
    chronischer venöser Insuffizienz (einschließlich Ulcus cruris venosum und Phlebödem)ThrombophlebitisPhlebothrombose

    sowie für Stutz- und Entlastungsverbände bei Erkrankungen des Band- und Halteapparates, wie z.B.:
