As with other ghd tools, this ghd tong maintains the perfect styling temperature of 185°C is maintained with technology in the barrel that recognises different sections of hair so that they are not damaged but maintain their style.

ghd Curve Tong Product Features

  • The ghd curve tong for soft curls has a 32mm large barrel with a spring activated ergonomic lever.
  • The ghd curling tong has a spring-activated lever for securing the tips of the hair while creating curls.
  • It also features a cool tip to protect you with a place to hold the hair as you curl. For further protection, there is also a built-in safety stand which means you can put the tong down on any surface during styling.
  • On-off switch and indicator press and hold design avoids accidental use during styling. Light & sound indicate on-off and ready to use.
  • The cord is of a professional-length which allows flexible work in a salon space, an automatic sleep mode after 30 minutes without use and universal voltage, meaning you can take it with you when you travel.

How to Use the ghd Curve Tong

  • For a big, bouncy, curly blow-dryed look; section the hair into 2cm wide and deep pieces.
  • Open the clamp and flat wrap the hair around the barrel.
  • Close the clamp to secure the end of the hair in place.
  • Wait 5-8 seconds and then open the clamp to release.
  • Alternatively, to create a loose wave; section the hair as before but instead twist wrap the hair around the barrel - this creates a more relaxed style.
  • Hold the hair in place for 5-8 seconds (the clamp may not close completely due to the twisted section of hair being thicker) and then release.
