John Lennon and Yoko Ono signed and sketched this autograph book page August 8th, 1980, outside of the Hit Factory in New York City, New York where Yoko Ono and John Lennon were recording Double Fantasy and a large part of a projected second album, Milk and Honey.

John Winston Ono Lennon (born John Winston Lennon; 9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) was an English singer, songwriter and musician who gained worldwide fame as the founder, co-songwriter, co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Beatles. His work included music, writing, drawings and film. His songwriting partnership with Paul McCartney remains the most successful in history.

Yoko Ono (born February 18, 1933) is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist. Her work also encompasses performance art and filmmaking.
As Lennon's widow, Ono works to preserve his legacy. She funded the Strawberry Fields memorial in Manhattan's Central Park, the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland, and the John Lennon Museum in Saitama, Japan (which closed in 2010). She has made significant philanthropic contributions to the arts, peace, disaster relief in Japan and the Philippines, and other such causes. In 2002, she inaugurated a biennial $50,000 LennonOno Grant for Peace. In 2012, she received the Dr. Rainer Hildebrandt Human Rights Award and co-founded the group Artists Against Fracking.

Sometimes bands on tour like the Rolling Stones would spend 7-10 days in Beverly Hills at the Four Seasons, they would make LA there hub and just fly into the different West Coast cities for their concert and then jump on their private jet and be back at the Four Seasons in BH that same evening. Next day would be an off day.
Speaking of flights Pre- 911 we could call Virgin or for that matter any airline and check to see if as an example flight from Tokyo was on time. My point is you could actually say you were James Hetfield and you were just confirming your flight and yes believe it or not the phone operator for the airlines would say "yes Mr. Hetfield you are scheduled on such and such a flight"
I mean it just goes on we had the Tonight Show in Burbank Ca. which Jay Leno hosted and he had artists performing on his show five days a week.
Finally, we had Las Vegas perhaps the new entertainment capitol of the world just 3 hours away by car , San Diego a 2-hour drive, and San Francisco a 5 hour drive.
