The Aux 8,000 BTU portable air conditioner, 5,500 BTU DOE standard, is a great solution for reducing your central AC use by cooling the room you use the most. With built-in dehumidifying capabilities this unit is able to remove up to 2.5 pints of moisture from your chosen room per hour. Included window venting kit and flexible exhaust hose makes setup incredibly user-friendly. Additionally, the integrated side handles and maneuverable caster wheels means moving the air conditioner to a new room has never been easier. To help save money on your energy bill, use the programmable timer which allows you to set the unit to cool only during active hours. In case of power outage, the unit comes equipped with power failure auto restart that remembers the settings you had setup before the unit turned off. After prolonged use, the clean filter alert will notify you when it’s time to clean the easy access washable filter.
