The Shan channa chaat seasoning is a masala or spice mix that allows you to easily prepare chana chaat or chickpeas salad at home. Containing a powdered mix of various spices and ingredients, the Shan channa chaat seasoning has a great tangy flavor that goes incredibly well with the chickpeas and boiled potatoes used in chana chaat. The Shan channa chaat seasoning comes in sixty gram packs that may be used multiple times. Chickpeas are very popular in South Asian cuisine but somewhat less so outside of Asia. Not only are chick pea salads healthy, they can also be incredibly delicious if prepared correctly. With Shan channa chaat seasoning, you can consistently get delectable chickpeas salad.

Aaloo Chole/Channa Chaat

Ingredients
Chickpeas 1 cup/200g (3-4 hours soaked)
Baking soda 1 tsp
Tamarind pulp ½ cup
Boiled potato 1 large (cubed)
Green chillies medium 2-3 (sliced)
Lemon juice 4 tbsp
Shan Channa Chaat Masala 3-4 tbsp

Method
1. Get 6-8 glasses water in a pot and boil chickpeas on slow heat for 2-3 hours.
2. Then add baking soda and cook on slow heat for 1 hour to make chickpeas soft.
3. (There should be 2 cups broth left after chickpeas soft.)
4. Add green chillies, lemon juice, potato, tamarind pulp and shan channa chaat masala in chickpeas and serve hot.
