Edward Lodewijk Van Halen (January 26, 1955 – October 6, 2020) the guitarist, keyboardist, backing vocalist and primary songwriter of the rock band Van Halen, which he founded with his brother Alex in 1972.

Sometimes bands on tour like the Rolling Stones would spend 7-10 days in Beverly Hills at the Four Seasons, they would make LA there hub and just fly into the different West Coast cities for their concert and then jump on their private jet and be back at the Four Seasons in BH that same evening. Next day would be an off day.
Speaking of flights Pre- 911 we could call Virgin or for that matter any airline and check to see if as an example flight from Tokyo was on time. My point is you could actually say you were James Hetfield and you were just confirming your flight and yes believe it or not the phone operator for the airlines would say "yes Mr. Hetfield you are scheduled on such and such a flight"
